PSHE education helps children and young people to stay safe, healthy and prepared for life's opportunities. At Abbotswood, we follow the curriculum sequencing and objectives set out by The PSHE Association, alongside The Medway RSE resources, which supports our teaching of Relations and Sex Education. Our aim for a high quality PSHE curriculum, set out by The PSHE Association, is that we teach children to foster lifelong aspirations, goals and values. PSHE is about giving every child an equal opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge they need to thrive now and in the future. This includes helping them to deal with critical issues they face every day, such as friendships, emotional wellbeing and change, giving them a solid foundation for whatever challenging opportunities lie ahead.
