Beginning the school day:

Our school day begins with a ‘soft start’. The gates open at 8:40 and close at 8:55. All of our gates and doors are manned and your children will be met with a smiling face in the morning. 

All children are expected to be in class by 8:55. The soft start allows children to begin their school day in a relaxed and welcoming environment. 

 

Break:

All children have a break from 10:35 - 11:00. During this time, children are encouraged to eat a healthy snack and use the toilet. Being outside is a hugely important part of childhood so we will only keep children inside at break and lunch in extreme weather conditions. Please ensure your child comes to school with appropriate clothing. 

 

Lunch:

For Year 3 & 4, lunch is 12:15-13:00. For Year 5 & 6, lunch is 12:30-13:15. 

 

End of the school day:

Our school day finishes at 15:15. Your child will leave school from their year group door with their class teacher.
